Plain licensing

What you can and can't do, in plain language.

What this is

When you buy a CandorVites design, you get a license to use it. You don't get ownership of the design or its copyright. This license applies to every product unless its page says otherwise. Your order and invoice say which license you chose.

Personal license

  • Personalize the design for your own event or project, such as your wedding, birthday or party.
  • Print and share your finished designs with the people you invite or tell.

Commercial license

Everything in the personal license, and also:

  • Use the design for client work, such as planning events or printing for customers.
  • Use the finished designs in your own business, such as posts, menus or flyers for your shop.

There's no limit on how many copies you print or share. Each purchase covers one buyer. A team that shares the files or the link needs one license per person.

Under every license, you may not

  • Resell, share, give away or upload the template, the files or the link, in any form, edited or not.
  • Sell or offer the design as your own work, or as part of a template, stock or clipart product.
  • Use it in anything unlawful, hateful or misleading.
  • Claim that CandorVites made or approved your finished work.

Credits

You don't have to credit CandorVites on your finished work.

What's inside, and how it was made

Each product has a rights record: every font, image and element in it is original, or was used under a license that allows resale in a product like this one. Canva templates use Canva's own content under Canva's license terms, so we sell them only as Canva template links. Every product page says whether AI was used in making the design, and which parts. AI-made artwork may have limits on how copyright applies to it, so we license to you the rights we hold and don't claim more. Your license to use the design is not affected.

Your tools

Editing needs the software named on the product page, such as a free or paid Canva account. We don't control third-party software, its prices or its changes.

Ending the license

The license ends if you break these terms. We may then turn off your link. Money isn't refunded in that case, except as the Cancellation and refund policy says.
